The incredible heat continued today. The maximum temperature was 38 ºC (100 ºF).

In this heat, we were mostly inside the house, which is cooler than the outside air temperature. Reading, doing the laundry, trying to design our program for the remaining days in Slovakia. Finished the Hungarian satirical novel Egy ceruza története by Józsi Jenő Tersánszky – took me longer than I anticipated (I started it on Day 23 of the summer break; maybe the topic of WWI wasn’t the best for these hot summer days).

Let’s see how beautiful the sunset can be in our little village.
