For two days in the Samburu National Reserve in Kenya, on the banks of the Uaso Nyro River, a unique accommodation served as our base for safari.
We stayed at the luxurious Samburu Intrepids Tented Camp in which tents sit on raised decks and Samburu tribesmen guard against visiting monkeys and crocodiles. Our tent was very comfortable with shower and four-poster king sized bed. Tasty food was prepared and served on a deck overlooking the river. Here, for the first time, we were able to catch our breath a little. We know you will enjoy the camp as much as we did.

We didn’t have time for swimming. We were very busy with the safari. We were very lucky – there were no bugs!
