My husband, Steve, and I love to take walks in our Seattle neighborhood. It can be a morning, afternoon, or even an evening walk. We take our walks in every season – rain or shine – while noticing the changes in the neighborhood and appreciating the details we see.

In January, it’s the bare trees, the flowering winter trees and shrubs, the spectacular clouds, the beautiful sunsets, the garden and house decorations, the occasional (and very rare) snow, and the surprising signs of an early spring in winter. Yes, some flowers are popping up: snowdrops, hellebore, crocus, violets, and an occasional daffodil. Enjoy the selection of photos from the last few years!

A férjemmel, Steve-vel, imádunk sétálni a környékünkön, itt Seattle-ben. Lehet ez reggeli, délutáni, vagy akár esti séta is. Minden évszakban sétálunk, esőben és napsütésben egyaránt, miközben figyeljük a környék változásait és érzékeljük a részleteket. S hogy mi vesz körül januárban? Csupasz fák, virágzó téli fák és cserjék, látványos felhők, gyönyörű naplementék, a kertek és házak dekorációi, az alkalmankénti (és nagyon ritka) hó, és a kora tavasz meglepő jelei a télben.
