A beautiful summer day with beautiful weather and some relaxing work.

For me, the work included cleaning and organizing our pantry, and some garden work for both of us (picking up dry plants, cutting some branches from the vanilla plant (Sarcococca ruscifolia), and tidying edges of the garden).

And there was lots of reading into the evening in the courtyard, until we could barely see.

The faculty and staff summer letter arrived today via e-mail, so now I know the deatiled schedule for the opening days of the new school year. I already learned about my teaching schedule and got the rosters last week.
