Summer vacation, Day 38 – Nyári vakáció, 38. nap

A relaxing day when we tried to recover from a lack of sleep and dealt with some household issues.

After a very filling and delicious breakfast, we walked to a bookstore. I had a long list of Hungarian books I wanted to buy. Unfortunately, they didn’t have everything I had on my list, but I was still able to purchase two. Now, I have three new books to read, since my class also gave me one as part of the present that I received from them.

After an unsuccessful hunt for the type of sourdough bread that we tasted with our breakfast at the New York Pension – the bakery “apumondta” was going to open at noon on Monday – we drove back to Pozba and spent the afternoon relaxing: reading and doing some crossword puzzles and recounting our observations from Dunaszerdahely (Dunajská Streda). On our way home, we purchased a variety of breads at a local supermarket (not good sourdough though).
