I know you would say, it’s o.k. to get up almost before noon when you are on your summer break. But I don’t know how I should feel about it.

It was so hot today that it was almost impossible to be outside. Only a little bit in the morning and in the evening.

A slow, sleepy, and hot June day. No change on the home front.

Today, it was very hot here, 95 ºF (35 ºC). Too hot to be outside, but perfect for an afternoon nap inside. Four-hour long for Steve, an hour for me.

The merging of a day and night continued for me today, but generally it’s getting better for both of us.

It seemed like the travel day would never end, since there was no break between my days, it felt like the day and night were not separated.

Today was a very long travel day, indeed. We are tired but we arrived in Budapest, Hungary, in the llate afternoon.

We are excited to start our trip today. A long day of travel awaits.

The day was spent on final preparations for our European adventure.

Happy summer solstice, everyone! On this first official day of summer, on our home front, the good and bad continued.

I had hoped to continue with more gardening today, but instead the day brought other activities and news (good and bad).

Today it was all about gardening.
